Customs Authorisations

Deadline for acceptance of the authorisation application

In proceedings initiated at the request of a party, the customs authorities shall verify, without delay and no later than within 30 days of receipt of the request for a decision, whether the conditions for acceptance of the request have been met. When the customs authorities verify that the application contains all the information required for making the decision, they will notify the applicant of their acceptance within the specified period.

If the application is not complete, an additional request will be made with a maximum response period of 30 days. This requirement extends the thirty-day period for the adoption of the acceptance agreement.
