The "Subject" section cannot be completed in the Generic Certificate application
When requesting a generic certificate, it is mandatory to complete the "Subject" section indicating the reason for the request. This is free text with no established formatting, although the form includes a text editor with some functionality.
If you are using the Internet Explorer browser, associated with the Windows operating system, and it is not possible to complete this field, it is because the regional and language settings are not set to Spain (region) or Spanish (language). In this case, the form would look like this:
In order not to modify the regional and language settings on your computer, the recommended solution would be to install another browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome in Spanish. If you already have this browser installed in another language and you install the Spanish version again in the same path, the configuration will not be lost, simply the language will be changed. Afterwards it can be reinstalled in its original language.
After installing the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser in Spanish, the "Subject" section would look like this:
If you want to continue using the Internet Explorer browser, you will need to change the regional and language settings (less recommended option).
