- Accreditation of the status of promoter of the group of voters by means of a document on ordinary paper stating the same, without requiring a minimum number of promoters. Promoters are those who encourage or promote the presentation of candidacies before the corresponding Electoral Boards.
- The group of voters is formally constituted with the presentation of the candidacy before the electoral administration, and does not need to be registered as an association.
To present a candidacy, a certain number of signatures are required from those registered in the electoral census of the municipality (according to the scale established in article 187.3 of Organic Law 5/1985 of the Electoral Regime based on the number of inhabitants of the municipality), which must be authenticated by means of a notarial act or by the Secretary of the electoral corporation.
Applications must be submitted to the competent Electoral Board between the fifteenth and twentieth day after the election call.
Photocopy of the NIF of the person who signs the census declaration, who must be a promoter with capacity or a representative. If the interested party appears before the Tax Authority, it will not be necessary to provide a photocopy of the NIF , provided that he/she authorizes the bodies of the AEAT to verify his/her identity data.
