Consumer and user associations (G)

(Included in the scope of Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating the Right of Association) (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, approving the Revised Text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users)

Consumer and user associations may adopt the legal form of:

• cooperative society (F)
• association (G)

In any case, they must be registered in the registry kept by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy or in the corresponding registry for the Autonomous Communities that have assumed powers in this area.
