Civic-Tax Education Programme

Since 2003, the Tax Agency has been developing the Civic-Tax Education Program (PECT), as an educational program whose objective is to explain to younger citizens the impact that the tax system, in its dual aspect of public income and expenditure, has on their daily lives and their future prospects.

Thanks to the training staff available throughout the territory, various actions are carried out such as:

• Open Days in Tax Units.
• Talks given by Tax Agency staff in schools.

Both actions are carried out in educational centres requesting training. 

National competitions

As an activity closely linked to schools talks, a national competition for schools is held, awarding several categories with prizes: writing, graphic and audiovisual posters. Originally, the competition was only for the writing category.
