Civic-Tax Education Programme

Since 2003, the Tax Agency has been developing the Civic-Tax Education Program (PECT), as an educational program whose objective is to explain to younger citizens the impact that the tax system, in its dual aspect of public income and expenditure, has on their daily lives and their future prospects.

Thanks to the training staff available throughout the country, various activities are carried out at the request of center managers, such as:

• Open days at the Tax Agency offices.

• Talks given by Tax Agency staff in educational centers

As an activity closely linked to these, a national competition is held for students at the centers, in which several categories are awarded: writing, graphic and audiovisual posters.
