On January 1, 2025, Regulation EU2024/2522 of September 23, amending Annex I of Regulation EEC 2658/87 on the Combined Nomenclature, will enter into force.

 Among the modifications included is the elimination of NC 2710 19 43 for diesel, which is replaced by the following classifications:

 · NC 2710 19 42. Intended for diesel fuels with a sulphur content of less than or equal to 0.001% by weight, less than 0.5% biodiesel, and with a carbon content of biological origin of at least 80% by weight.

· NC 2710 19 44. Intended for diesel fuels with a sulphur content of less than or equal to 0.001% by weight, less than 0.5% biodiesel, and with a carbon content of biological origin of less than 80% by weight.

 This modification will have an impact on the operation of the EMCS system in both internal and intra-community circulation, and on the Integrated Supply and Delivery Note System ( SIANE ).
