Agreement between the State Tax Administration Agency and the General Intervention of the State Administration
On April 7, 2022, the Agreement signed between the State Tax Administration Agency and the General Intervention of the State Administration was published in the Official State Gazette. It establishes a general framework for collaboration in relation to the conditions and procedures that must govern the reciprocal exchange of information for the fight against tax fraud and late payment in commercial operations of public sector entities, as well as for the fight against fraud in obtaining or receiving aid or subsidies from public funds or from the European Union.
In 2015, the Tax Agency and the General Intervention of the State Administration signed an agreement for the reciprocal exchange of information. This new agreement adapts collaboration to the new regulatory framework and increases the supply of information.
