The Tax Agency participates in the XVII Tax Congress organized by the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) and the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF)

The Tax Agency has participated in the XVII edition of the Tax Congress organized by the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) together with the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) which was held from 25 to 27 May in Córdoba.

In seven presentations, the Congress speakers analysed various current issues in the legal-tax field, analysing the most recent jurisprudence and discussing and giving their opinions on the most controversial issues in each of the matters.

Representatives of the Tax Agency participated as speakers in the following sessions: "Procedural costs and effective judicial protection", "Consequences of the 'Saquetti' case: What happens with the double judicial instance?”, “The new reference value of the real estate market”, “Precautionary suspensions of the collection procedure” and “Derivations of liability, with special reference to the duality of tax vs. commercial liability and the assumptions of art. 42.2.a) LGT ”. 

The Congress, which was attended by tax professionals and renowned specialists from the judiciary, the tax administration and academia, was closed by Gerardo Martínez Tristán (Magistrate of the National Court and Member of the CGPJ), Jesús Gascón Catalán (Director General of the Tax Agency) and Enrique Lang-Lenton Bonny (Vice President of AEDAF).
