The Tax Blog of Crónica Tributaria publishes another entry each week on different aspects of taxation. On Wednesday, July 19, an entry written by Ms. Teresa Díaz-Miguel Pérez, Head of the International Relations Coordination Unit of the Tax Agency, was published with the title “The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union” .

In the entry, the author reflects on the large participation of officials from the tax and customs field, both in the preparatory work for the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union by Spain on July 1, and from that date, in the search for the necessary consensus between the 27 Member States to successfully conclude the challenges and projects that will be promoted by the Presidency, in order to achieve progress that will benefit all European citizens.
