The Tax Agency attends the award ceremony for Quality and Innovation in Public Management for the service “New functionality of the AEAT app: paying, deferring and checking”
On February 18, 2025, the award ceremony for the Quality and Innovation in Public Management Awards, 16th and 17th editions, organized by the General Directorate of Public Governance of the Secretary of State for Civil Service, took place at the Grand Amphitheatre of the Official College of Physicians of Madrid.
The Director of the Collection Department, Ms. Virginia Muñoz Fernández, and the Director of the Tax Information Technology Department, Mr. José Borja Tomé, have received, from the hands of the Secretary of State for Public Function, Ms. Clara Mapelli Marchena, the award given to the State Agency for Tax Administration in the XVI edition in the Citizen Award category for the practice "New functionality of the AEAT app: pay, defer and consult".
After thanking the award, they highlighted the Tax Agency's firm commitment to promoting measures that make it easier for citizens to comply with their tax obligations, through services such as the award-winning one.
The functionality of the award-winning app has made it easier, faster and more efficient to request deferrals, consult and pay debts, without time restrictions, so that taxpayers can save time and travel when carrying out the most common procedures in the tax collection field.
