How to make a backup of your electronic certificate

Linux - Copying the certificate in Mozilla Firefox

To copy a certificate in Mozilla Firefox, go to the "Edit" menu, "Preferences".

Click on "Privacy and security", "Security", "Certificates", "View certificates"

In the new window, select the "Your Certificates" tab. Select the corresponding certificate and press the "Make a copy..." button.

Select a location to save the copy and set a name for the file. Click the "Save" button.

If a master password is set, it must be entered in order to continue with the certificate copy. If you don't see any message about the master password, continue forward.

You will then be prompted to enter and confirm the backup password to protect the copy of the certificate.

If everything is correct, a message will appear indicating that the backup was successful and the file obtained will have a .p12 extension.
