How to make a backup of your electronic certificate

If the operating system is Macintosh and the browser is Safari, the electronic certificate must be installed in the "Keychain Access" of Mac . To make a backup copy of the certificate, follow these instructions.
Go to "Finder", "Applications", "Utilities", "Keychain Access".
The certificate will appear in the "My Certificates" section of "Login". To make the copy, select the certificate and click on "File", "Export items" or "Export items", depending on the version.
Enter a name and location. Under "File Format" the option "Personal Information Exchange (.p12)" should be displayed. Click "Save".
Enter and confirm a password to protect the copy. Then press "Accept".
The resulting file will have the extension .p12.
If you are unable to export the certificate or it is not working properly, you will need to obtain an electronic certificate again.
