Subsection 6.8; Production of goods

This subsection covers exclusively the production of goods integrated into the international supply chain.

If applicable to your company, please answer only questions 6.8.1 to 6.8.4. In this context, production can include a wide range of activities, from manufacturing from raw materials to assembling purchased parts.

6.8.1, a) and b)

Specify in your description whether the people working in the production area are permanent employees or temporary workers. Describe where the production activity is located within your facility and, to the extent possible, indicate the location on a copy of your company's facility plan. Please refer to the notes for question 6.2.3.

6.8.2

Support your answer by referring, where appropriate, to the risk and threat assessment described in question 6.1.2, a) and b). All compliance monitoring must be accompanied by appropriate signed and dated evidence.

6.8.3

Please specify whether you use technological devices intended to ensure the integrity of the packages (e.g., weight control or surveillance using closed-circuit television systems, etc.). Please also describe the process of securing individual packages and the methods of grouping packages, for example, using pallets.

Provide information on the level of knowledge of the recipient (address/country) and how this data is controlled.

6.8.4

Please refer in your description to any contractual or service level agreements you have with the third party in question. Customs authorities will examine this information.
Please also specify whether the packages can be grouped.
