Functional distribution of public spending
The following table shows the functional distribution of public spending in terms of National Accounting, that is, what do Public Administrations spend each euro on? To compile the table, consolidated data from all public administrations (central government, central government agencies, autonomous communities, local governments, and social security administrations) were used. These consolidated data are published by the General Intervention of the State Administration (Ministry of Finance). The data refer to 2022, the latest year published as of the closing date of the teaching guide.
