Visit the General State Budget website and see how much is spent on education. Write down on a piece of paper what these budgets suggest to you or what most catches your attention.

Visit the UNESCO and UNICEF websites or other sources for data such as the number of people in the world, the number by continent, the number of children on each continent, and note the percentage of these children who are poor and hungry. Once you have all the data, write down why you think there are so many poor children and what you would do to ensure they could all have the same quality of life as you.
