Alice and her scholarship (elusion) . Alicia's parents are going to apply for a scholarship for her. Since Alicia's parents' income exceeds the threshold for the scholarship, they submit an incomplete tax return—which they later corrected with another one attached to the previous one to the Treasury, paying the taxes they actually owe—and thus obtain Alicia's scholarship. There are only scholarships for 1,000 children. Juan, whose parents earn less than Alicia's, has not been granted it. Would Alicia be happy to use this procedure? What should Alicia's parents have done? How will Alicia explain to Juan that she has a scholarship and he doesn't, knowing that Alicia's parents have more income than his? Could Alicia think she's entitled to a scholarship because her parents pay taxes to make those social benefits available?

Ana and her parents' income tax return (evasion) . Ana's parents are filing their tax returns. They discuss whether or not to include the rent for an apartment they have on the coast among their income, or whether, on the contrary, to not include it and spend the money they save on a trip to Disneyland that she wants to take. What should Ana tell her parents? Should you insist on going to Disneyland? What would Ana say if instead of going to Disneyland they were going to spend that money on a washing machine? What would you say if instead of going to Disneyland, that money went to inviting some friends to dinner? How will Ana explain to her friends that she can go to Disneyland with her tax money?

Juan and the arrangement of his kitchen ( VAT fraud) . At Juan's house they are going to fix the kitchen. Plumbers and bricklayers tell their parents that if they don't give them an invoice, they don't have to pay VAT. Juan's parents are thinking about it, because with that VAT money they can buy some more furniture. But on the other hand, they know it is wrong to do so. Furthermore, they think that if the plumbers and bricklayers don't do what they've said, or do it wrong, since they don't have an invoice, they wouldn't be able to complain. What would Juan say to his parents?
