• We need two pieces of information: the number of people registered with Social Security and the number of unemployed. These data give two rates: the number of employed people and the unemployment rate. Search the National Statistics Institute website: ine.es these rates for last year.

• What activities or groups of people support the greatest number of unemployed?

• What measures does the State take for people who are unemployed? Do you know what unemployment insurance is? Do you know where the money to pay for it comes from?

• Indicate any measures adopted by the State that seek to "reconcile" family and work life in the case of employed women who have become mothers. Use an internet search engine and search for "deduction for working mothers." What is it? What is your goal?
