Who collects taxes and controls customs?

The State Tax Administration Agency

The State Tax Administration Agency, hereinafter the Tax Agency, is a public law entity attached to the Ministry of Finance. As a public-law entity, it has its own legal system, distinct from that of the General State Administration, which, without prejudice to the essential principles that must govern all administrative action, grants it a certain degree of autonomy in budgetary and personnel management matters.

The Tax Agency's main task is to ensure the effective implementation of the state tax and customs system.
