Auction details
The exact date of the start of the auctions cannot be known in advance, as it is conditioned by the publication of the announcement in the BOE, according to the established publication intervals (between three and six business days). The auction will then start in accordance with the applicable regulations (the auction will open at least 24 hours after the announcement has been published). The auction will remain open for twenty calendar days and will not close until one hour has elapsed since the last bid was placed, provided that it was higher than the best bid placed up to that point, even if this entails extending the initial period of twenty days by a maximum of 24 hours.
Whenever a bid that is the highest bid in the auction at that time is confirmed during the last hour of an auction execution, the auction time will be extended so that the remaining execution time is again one hour.
For example, for an auction that ends at 18:00, if a bid that is the highest at that time is confirmed at 17:15, the new end time will be 18:15. If the maximum bid is confirmed at 17:45, the new closing time will be 18:45. Bids placed before 5:00 p.m. will not affect the auction closing time, which will continue to be at 6:00 p.m.
In addition, the limit for all extensions will be 24 hours from the auction closing time before any extension is made.
